About Us Biogreen is an Australian company, which mines peat in south western Victoria. It produces raw materials and peat based substrates for gardening, horticulture, viticulture and agriculture. Biogreen has the largest peat resource in the southern hemisphere - over 700 ha and has a 75 year mining lease. All mined areas are returned to wetlands, with plantings designed to attract native birds and animals. Biogreen customers include commercial farmers around Australia such as potato growers, turf growers, shires, councils and export customers. Biogreen is committed to delivering intelligent products and solutions for the environment we live in. The company is active in soil restoration, fertiliser delivery, and environmental containment and prevention.
Biogreen peat is certified organic by the Biological Farmers Association (BFA).
