Biogreen products are delivered to market after extensive trials by the Research and Development sector of the company. Below is some information and illustrations about recent product trials:

This lettuce trial was conducted in a greenhouse. Lettuces were grown from seed in a regular potting mix with different fertiliser regimes. The lettuces to the left of the photo have been fertilised with recommended levels of two common manure based fertilisers. The lettuces to the right of the photo have received an equivalent quantity of Biogreen’s Superior Boost. All other variables such as watering, sunlight were removed.

Results from this trial indicated that lettuces fertilized with Superior Boost had much healthier and vigorous growth and development compared to the same levels of manure based fertiliser.

SUPERIOR BOOST MARIGOLD TRIALS

This photograph above is taken from a greenhouse trial set-up identically to the lettuce trial except marigold seeds were sown.

Results from this trial indicated that marigolds fertilized with Biogreen’s Superior Boost had much healthier and vigorous growth and development compared to when the same levels of manure-based fertiliser were applied.

SOIL MOISTURE COMPARISON WITH MULCH

The bar chart above illustrates the results of a comparison of soil moisture fluctuation when soil is bare or covered in several different mulches to a depth of 5 cm. Results from this trial indicated that soil mulched with Biogreen’s Mega Mulch Block maintained soil moisture much better than soil beneath either of the other mulches. Also, compared to bare soil Biogreen Mega Mulch Block saved 60% soil moisture.
