Based on peat, nature's age-old water saver and nutrient storehouse, Biogreen's organic products translate directly into higher yields, increased plant health, and reduced need for water and fertiliser. 'The Power of Peat' is providing councils, broad acre farmers, turf growers and home gardeners with results that are efficient, cost effective and environmentally friendly.

The products are long lasting - one application significantly boosts water retention, soil nutrition and fertility for up to ten years - and free of the smell often associated with fertiliser. Peat is also nature's source of organic carbon, with beneficially high levels of humic and fulvic acid.

Biogreen is an Australian company, which mines peat in south western Victoria. It produces raw materials and peat based substrates for gardening, horticulture, viticulture and agriculture. All mined areas are returned to wetlands, with plantings designed to attract native birds and animals.

Biogreen peat is certified organic by the National Association of Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA) and the Biological Farmers Association (BFA)
